Some new stuff!

Last year, in Athens, I took this photograph which is currently featured in an exhibit in Portland Maine with the Addison Woolley Group. The exhibit is held at the Art House on Pleasant Street and will run during the months of April and May.

Also, while in Athens I had the opportunity to photograph some of the famous Elgin Marbles, which were exhibited at the wonderful Acropolis Museum. About 50% of the marble are now held at the British Museum. Greece has had a dispute with the Brits, ever since Lord Elgin “stole” them. Photographing them is like street photography, there is so much happening!. These are my interpretations of the marbles.

The first of May, this year the exhibit “Washed Away” is opening at the Portland Library Art Gallery. The idea was to enter work referring to the storms 2years ago that caused a lot of grief and damage. There is also an interpretation allowed for the feeling of political loss expressing once feelings about what we are currently loosing with the current political climate. Below you will see my submission!
